Priorities 

As Sheriff, I will provide safety and security to Williamson County through more effective pursuit and prosecution of criminal offenders. Our county is one of the fastest growing in the country,and with that rapid growth comes additional challenges. Maintaining high investigative standards, serving with integrity, and aggressively pursuing those who harm our community are vital to keeping WilCo a great place to work, live, and raise a family. 

As your next Sheriff, I promise to manage the department professionally. I will lead with integrity and accountability and demand the same from staff. The WCSO will provide operational transparency to the public. We will protect and serve our community with a deep commitment to the law and a dedication to the safety of Williamson County residents. 

As a former Texas Ranger, I have decades of experience working with every law enforcement agency in Williamson County. As your next Sheriff, I can ensure stronger cooperation with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners. Our community is safer with collaboration, open communication, and strong relationships between all agencies. 

When residents have timely access to information, they can make decisions to keep their families safe. As Sheriff, I will inform Williamson County residents of potentially dangerous situations through timely media releases and online postings. 

As your next Sheriff, I will focus more on better protecting our youth and elderly populations through enhanced staff training and improved policies and procedures. I will also increase the dissemination of information to vulnerable populations. I hope to make the Williamson County Sheriff's Office a resource for residents to learn how to avoid becoming victims of crime. 

As a former jailer in Williamson County, I'm very familiar with the requirements expected by the state. As your Sheriff, I will prevent future failed state jail inspections by maintaining higher operational standards and conducting closer internal monitoring.
