Veteran Law Enforcement Officer & Precinct Three Constable Matthew Lindemann Files to Run for Williamson County Sheriff
Precinct Three Constable Matthew Lindemann filed to be the Republican nominee for Williamson County Sheriff this week at county Republican headquarters.
Lindemann has been a law enforcement officer in Williamson County since 1985. He started his career as a corrections officer and deputy sheriff at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. He then joined the Texas Department of Public Safety as a state trooper in 1990. He retired as a Lieutenant in the Texas Ranger Division after 28 honorable years at the agency and continued to serve as an investigator at the Wilco District Attorney’s Office. Lindemann has served as the Precinct 3 Constable since late 2021 and is the current President of the Former Texas Rangers Association.
“Williamson County has been my home my entire life. My wife and I have raised our two children in this community, and now, my grandchildren are growing up here. Keeping our county a safe place to live, work, and raise a family is personal to me,” said Lindemann. “For 38 years, I have dedicated myself to protecting and serving Williamson County, and I hope to continue that service as your Sheriff."
